Position Summary: This position will support the Department of Subwaysu2019 Capital Programs by developing and reviewing Force Account labor estimates and monitoring labor utilization across Subways divisions. The role helps ensure the efficient and effective delivery of capital program support services through detailed data analysis, research, forecasting, and evaluation of operational alternatives. The analyst reviews labor cha r ge verification requests, identifies opportunities to improve service efficiency, and contributes to transit labor costing and long u2011 term forecasting. This position works closely with stakeholders across NYCT to resolve issues, support negotiations, and enhance the operational and financial performance of Subwaysu2019 capital support services. Responsibilities: The incumbent will be responsible for preparing Force Account estimates (EFA and TA Labor) for the Department of Subways divisions. Key responsibilities include identifying efficiencies in TA services, monitoring TA Labor utilization, and reviewing and processing TA Labor cha r ge verification requests. The role will also support capital transit labor forecasting, costing, and analysis. This includes conducting data analysis and research, evaluating alternatives, resolving issues, participating in negotiations, and coordinating with stakeholders across NYCT to ensure efficient delivery of support services. The incumbent will perform in-depth analysis of Subways' capital support services to help drive operational and financial effectiveness. Education and Experience: Assistant Transit Management Analyst I and II: 1. A master's degree from an accredited college or university in business administration, public administration, public policy, engineering, engineering technology, economics, architecture, mathematics, physics, computer science, finance, accounting, transportation planning, industrial psychology, urban planning/studies, human resources management, labor relations, operations research, security management or in a related area, or 2. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university and two years of satisfactory full-time professional experience working in budget administration, accounting, economic or financial administration, engineering, in management or methods of analysis, operations research, organization research or program evaluation, personnel or public administration, staff development, employment program planning or administration, security management; or general administration. Associate Transit Management Analyst: 1. A master's degree from an accredited college or university in business administration, public administration, public policy, engineering, engineering technology, economics, architecture, mathematics, physics, computer science, finance, accounting, transportation planning, industrial psychology, urban planning/studies, human resources management, labor relations, operations research, security management or in a related area, and one year of full u2010 time satisfactory professional experience working in budget administration, accounting, economic or financial administration, engineering, in management or methods analysis, operations research, organizational research or program evaluation, personnel or public administration, staff development, employment program planning or administration, security management; or general administration; or 2. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university; and three years of full-time satisfactory experience as described in
