Job Description: The IT Department is seeking to hire a Database Engineer/Reporting Specialist to provide strategic and day-to-day database and reporting support for the Agencyu2019s main adjudications systems We are seeking a highly skilled Database Administrator (DBA) with mid-to-senior level experience to manage, optimize, and support our diverse database environments across development and production systems. This role is centered on advanced performance tuning in Microsoft SQL Server, along with hands-on experience supporting multiple database platforms including Azure SQL Database, MongoDB, MySQL, and PostgreSQL. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring database performance, scalability, and reliability by proactively identifying bottlenecks, optimizing queries, and supporting data-driven application development. This position also involves designing and maintaining ETL workflows using SQL Server Integration Services and developing reports through SQL Server Reporting Services. In addition, the role requires close collaboration with development and QA teams to support data validation, test data preparation, and overall software quality initiatives. Candidates with exposure to QA processes and automation testing tools such as Selenium or Cypress will be highly valued.
