NYC Department of Finance (DOF) is responsible for administering the tax revenue laws of the city fairly, efficiently, and transparently to instill public confidence and encourage compliance while providing exceptional customer service. DOFu2019s Finance Information Technology (FIT) Division designs, builds, and supports all facets of DOFu2019s computer systems, including hardware, software, applications, infrastructure, telephone, and data security. FIT delivers and administers tax-related payment programs for the City of New York by providing the information technology solutions needed to achieve its mission of collecting revenue while ensuring an efficient and improved customer experience. FIT is also responsible for the systems and websites which enable citywide payments, land records, property assessment, parking adjudications, customer service, and the Sheriffu2019s public safety work. The Citywide Payment Applications (CPA) Unit is responsible for maintaining computer systems that collect the revenue and fees for the Department of Finance and 30 other NYC agencies. CityPay websites allow the public to conveniently make a variety of on-line payments to the city, ranging from property taxes to parking violations to applications for dog licenses. The CPA unit is seeking an Informatica Administrator who will be a key member of the team responsible for designing and developing mappings, transformations, sessions, workflows, as well as deploying integration solutions. The successful candidate will also play a lead role in the ongoing tuning, maintenance, and support of the CPA Informatica Power Center. Reporting to the Senior Director of Citywide Payment Applications, the selected candidateu2019s responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following: - Code ETL data loads and transformations both for adding new data transformations and for modifying existing transformations. - Maintain and support the Department of Finance Citywide Payment Services & Standards Informatica Power Center application - Performing day-to-day and non-business hours support functions. - Installation of new Informatica instances and related services including validation of installation and arranging team testing. - Ongoing tuning and maintenance of all installation instances by regularly reviewing logs for errors and delays and addressing them. - Be primary contact for Informatica Support to resolve any coding or infrastructure issues. - Executing Production deployments. - Knowledge of Informatica Cloud and can manage the transition from our current in-house LINUX based application to a cloud-based application.
