Job Description: The Facility Human Resources Generalist will provide a broad range of HR services to support: recruitment and succession planning, leave management and employee relations. This role will also provide support with both employment law and policy interpretation, compensation, staffing and benefits administration. The Facility Human Resources Generalist will also assist with employee rewards and recognition, as well as with regulatory compliance guidance and HR reporting too. This role works onsite Monday to Friday at our Nestle Health Science USA Manufacturing Facility in Savannah, GA. Responsibilities: _Executing HR Strategy_ u2022 Aid in execution of the Nestlu00e9 People Strategy processes that attract, develop, recognize, and retain employees to support the organization's short- and long-term strategic business needs. u2022 Support Nestlu00e9 initiatives such as the Nestlu00e9 Management and Leadership Principles while executing workforce planning processes for the organization such as talent development, organizational planning, and organizational change management. u2022 Ensure the culture & working environment is open, empowering, fair, and equitable. u2022 Manage special projects in workforce management, strategic planning, quarterly/monthly people data reports and other ad-hoc works in progress. _Recruitment_ u2022 Responsible for salaried and hourly staffing through onboarding and retention of the right talent with alignment to the sitesu2019 staffing strategy. u2022 Collaborate with talent management teams in recruitment, new hire processing, posts announcements, job descriptions, diversity recruitment strategies, interviewing candidates and other related tasks. _Employee & Labor Relations_ u2022 Serve as liaison between employees and site leadership, as needed. u2022 Build and maintain relations with employees at the manufacturing site, to promote and foster an environment of open communication and transparent, candid feedback. u2022 Conduct investigations, provide coaching, and document findings, when required. u2022 Serve as liaison between employees and site leadership, as needed. _Compliance_ u2022 Supporting a holistic safety focus by driving people related safety goals and business initiatives. u2022 Perform planned/impromptu investigations and audits to ensure and/or maintain EEO/AA/OFCC or Federal/State employment law compliance in practice as it related to hiring, training, transfers, or promotions of people assets. u2022 Perform additional HR-related duties and tasks as assigned by the Facility Human Resources Manager. Requirements: u2022 High School Diploma or GED required; Bacheloru2019s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or in a related field highly preferred. u2022 3+ years of relevant full-cycle Human Resources work experience required, preferably working within a Manufacturing, Warehouse or in a Distribution environment (equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience will be considered). u2022 Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office (Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint) required. u2022 Knowledge and thorough understanding of Federal and State employment laws (e.g., EEO, AA, FMLA, ADA, Unemployment Insurance Administration, and Workeru2019s Compensation) required. u2022 Must have excellent communication (oral and written), presentation, follow-up and stakeholder management skills (including the ability to develop and maintain strong, cross-functional stakeholder relationships). u2022 Must be highly organized, attentive to detail, team-oriented and analytical. u2022 Willing and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision. u2022 Approaches others with open mind, understand and motivates diverse individuals and groups u2022 Experience with HRIS and Timekeeping systems including SuccessFactors or Kronos a plus. u2022 Current or prior Project Management experience is desired (i.e.: conducting a wage survey or helping revising handbook policies). u2022 Bilingual in both English and Spanish languages is highly desired. u2022 Willing and able to travel up to and including 5% for business purposes required. u2022 Willing and able to work a flexible schedule Monday to Friday including mornings, afternoons and some evenings as required.
