Summary The Supervisory Program Analyst position is in the Community Care Service - Augusta VA Medical Center. The position serves as the Community Care Program Supervisor. The primary purpose of the position is to provide line managers with objectively based information for making decisions on the administrative and programmatic aspects of Community Care operations and management. Responsibilities Major duties include, but are not limited to: Maintains oversight and control of patient records to ensure the CITC program is in compliance with VA, VHA, and MCM requirements. Coordinates consultations and referrals of patient appointments in accordance with current local and national consult scheduling policies to ensure compliance is maintained. Develops workload-based staffing standards to determine organizational manning levels. Updates leadership daily regarding contract changes, survey updates, trends in data, improvement initiatives, and service level action plans related to patient experience. Develops training strategies to include communication plans, implementation road maps, coaching plans, evaluation plans and follow-up management plan to assist the Program Manager. Provides training to staff, physicians, residents and interns in VA regulations, policies, and procedures on patient care medical administration matters. Provides guidance to employees, managers, supervisor, and vendors on the CITC processes and procedures to ensure compliance. Maintains clear communication to disseminate program information through formal and informal training and education programs across the facility and throughout the community.
