This role leads project planning, coordination, communication, and execution while serving as the primary point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Management & ExecutionPlan, coordinate, and manage all phases of assigned projects from initiation through closeoutDevelop short- and long-term project goals, strategies, and execution plansTrack and document project progress using company systemsEnsure project accuracy and completeness by identifying and resolving discrepanciesCommunication & CollaborationServe as the primary point of contact for customersManage all project communications and maintain thorough project documentationPartner with Engineering, Estimating, and Sales teams to ensure alignment and understanding of project scopeLead and participate in project meetings as requiredFinancial & Contract ManagementManage project financials to ensure profitability and cost controlReview project performance with leadership and implement corrective action plans as neededAssist with contract review and mark-upsCoordinate customer payments and manage change orders and back charges with appropriate approvalsProcurement & SchedulingReview final submittals for accuracy prior to procurementPrepare and release purchase orders to the Procurement teamEstablish delivery schedules and coordinate freight, labor, and installation to optimize cost efficiencyAssist in establishing master keying systems when applicableLeadership & Team OversightProvide proactive leadership and direction to project team membersManage daily activities and workload of the project teamFoster strong internal and external working relationshipsProject Closeout & ReportingOversee project closeout, including punch lists, final billing, and customer satisfactionReview and manage all project-related reportsPerform additional duties as assigned to support business objectivesAdditional Responsibilities & MiscellaneousPerform other duties as assigned to support projects and corporate objectivesQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)2-4 years of experience as an Assistant Project Manager in the door and hardware industry or related construction fieldStrong proficiency in computer software and industry-related productsWorking knowledge of accounting principlesExcellent organizational and time management skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsProven leadership and team management capabilitiesAbility to motivate others and build strong working relationshipsReports ToTeam LeaderCompensationThe listed pay range reflects the expected base rate for this position.
