Anthropologie is seeking a Sample Manager that will be responsible for leading the daily operations of the furniture sample storage building. This role is an essential part of the growing furniture business at Anthropologie, responsible for managing the flow of samples in and out of our Navy Yard headquarters.Sample Inventory Management: tracking, organizing, and maintaining the inventory of all furniture and decor samplesTrack incoming samples and update necessary teams as needed, communicate with carriers to schedule deliveries and pickupsReceive in new samples, pulling and putting away samples to/from photo shoots (both on location and on campus), pulling and putting away samples for on campus reviewsUnbox and assemble new samplesHandle samples with care to avoid damagesCheck samples in/out and ensure digital library system is updated, keep accurate records of sample locationsMaintain a clean and organized facilityTrack sample damages and shrink percentageCommunication with cross functional partners (buying, production, studio, etc)Request and oversee labor work orders to complete tasks as neededSupport cross functional partners and their needs in regards to samplesKeep samples organized during upcoming transition/construction of campus buildings3-5 years management experience, warehouse/inventory controlIdeal candidate is familiar with furniture, assembly and careAbility to frequently lift, push, pull, or carry objects up to 50 lbs.
