Description We are looking for a skilled Collections Specialist to join our team in Carrollton, Texas. In this Contract to permanent position, you will manage both residential and commercial collections, ensuring compliance with Texas law while providing exceptional customer service. This role offers an opportunity to work within a dynamic manufacturing environment and gain hands-on experience with various financial systems. Responsibilities: u2022 Manage collections activities for both residential and commercial accounts, ensuring timely payments. u2022 Apply knowledge of Texas laws to handle bonds, liens, and other legal aspects of collections. u2022 Engage with customers to resolve outstanding balances, providing detail-oriented and courteous service. u2022 Utilize legacy systems such as Infor to track accounts and update payment statuses. u2022 Process online payments and maintain accurate notes using platforms like Versapay. u2022 Assist in training team members on system functionalities and account management procedures. u2022 Open and manage accounts ensuring accurate data entry. u2022 Collaborate with internal teams to address billing issues and improve the collections process. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in collections, including handling both commercial and consumer accounts. u2022 Strong understanding of Texas laws related to bonds, liens, and collections. u2022 Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele. u2022 Familiarity with financial systems such as Infor, Medtran, and Versapay is preferred. u2022 Basic knowledge of Excel to assist with data tracking and reporting. u2022 Ability to adapt to new systems and processes through training. u2022 Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. u2022 Willingness to work occasional Saturday morning shifts as part of a rotating schedule.
