Job Description

Travel: Frequent out of town and overnights required. Lodging and meals provided.Shifts: Pharmacy Remodels require night shifts (8pm-5am) Scope of Responsibilities: Responsible for overseeing operations of the Construction Department. Responsible for training and development of subordinate staff, conducting performance reviews, estimating personnel needs, coordinating and assigning work, assisting with creation of annual departmental capital budget, prioritizing activities, and meeting deadlines.Job Summary: Responsible for the oversight of the activities associated with facility maintenance and construction within all divisions of KPH.Job Duties:Responsible for the coordination and scheduling of all on-site work activitiesResponsible for on-site supervision of Construction TeamResponsible for training and development of subordinate staff, including conducting Performance Reviews.Assist with the budgeting process for the Construction DepartmentResponsible for the intake, assigning, and resolution of all maintenance issues by use of in-house staff and vendor partners throughout all divisionsResponsible for necessary interaction with intra-company departments and vendor partners to plan and execute new store, remodels, maintenance, and construction plansAssist with outside vendor contract negotiations and management of those resources. Responsible for coordinating architectural, mechanical, electrical, and structural plans for each project when appropriate with landlords and contractors’ representativesResponsible for coordination with contractors to develop plans and bid contracts for various work needed to maintain and enhance facilitiesResponsible for cost estimates, management, and summarizing construction projectsApply for and submit applications when necessary to town/city/village for permits Ability to reference lease requirements and obligations concerning maintenance/repairs at all properties of all divisionsResponsible for obtaining and managing CAM contracts whenever needed at all facilities of all divisionsResponsible for maintaining fixture & supply warehouse for use as offices and needs to serve all divisionsAssist with RFP for waste management and other service needs of the organizationAssist with choosing, creating criteria, and administering CMMS software application to serve needs of organization for a more focused and thorough maintenance and repair solutionAssist with Construction Laborer duties as neededResponsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programsPerform other duties as assignedEducation:Minimum: High School Diploma or GEDPreferred: Associates degree or higher in Construction or related fieldExperience:Required: 2-3 years previous experience in facilities, maintenance, and constructionPreferred: 5 or more years previous experience in construction field with general construction knowledge.Preferred: 1-2 years prior supervisory experienceSpecial Conditions of Employment:Drug TestInitial and continuous exclusion and sanction/disciplinary monitoringDriver’s License VerificationSalary:$62,350--66,400 Annual
