Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our team in Madera, California. This is a Contract to permanent position, offering a great opportunity for growth in a dynamic and collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will support various accounting functions and ensure accurate financial record-keeping. Responsibilities: u2022 Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with precision and efficiency. u2022 Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy across financial accounts. u2022 Utilize QuickBooks to manage and maintain financial records effectively. u2022 Code invoices and verify supporting documentation for proper classification. u2022 Assist in processing payroll to ensure timely and accurate payments. u2022 Provide administrative and HR support to streamline operations. u2022 Maintain and update account records to ensure compliance with company standards. u2022 Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and improve processes. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions. u2022 Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software. u2022 Strong understanding of bank reconciliation processes. u2022 Ability to code invoices accurately and efficiently. u2022 Experience with payroll processing is highly desirable. u2022 Solid organizational and administrative skills. u2022 Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities. u2022 Effective communication skills for team collaboration and problem-solving.
