Description We are looking for an experienced Project Manager/Sr. Consultant to join our team in New York, New York. This long-term contract position offers the opportunity to lead impactful projects within the hospitality industry, collaborating with diverse teams and external partners to achieve strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in project management methodologies and ensure successful delivery of complex initiatives. Responsibilities: u2022 Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of cross-functional projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. u2022 Collaborate with business units, technology teams, and external partners to define project scope and objectives. u2022 Utilize Agile Scrum methodologies to manage workflows and optimize team performance. u2022 Monitor project progress, budgets, and risks, implementing corrective actions when necessary. u2022 Drive stakeholder engagement by effectively communicating project updates and milestones. u2022 Leverage Atlassian Jira to track tasks, manage timelines, and ensure transparency across teams. u2022 Develop comprehensive project plans, including resource allocation and risk management strategies. u2022 Ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices for project management. u2022 Facilitate meetings and workshops to promote collaboration and resolve challenges. u2022 Provide leadership and guidance to team members to foster productivity and innovation. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in managing complex IT projects within the hospitality industry. u2022 PMP Certification is required to demonstrate detail-oriented project management practices. u2022 Strong expertise in Agile Scrum methodologies and their application in project workflows. u2022 Proficiency in using Atlassian Jira for tracking and managing projects. u2022 Excellent communication and organizational skills to coordinate with diverse stakeholders. u2022 Ability to effectively manage budgets, risks, and timelines to achieve project success. u2022 Demonstrated leadership skills to inspire and guide project teams. u2022 Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience in project management.
