The New York City Department of Design and Construction, Technology & Innovation Division, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Contracts and Procurement Specialist. This role will support the end-to-end procurement lifecycle for technology-related goods and services, ensuring compliance with the NYC Procurement Policy Board (PPB) Rules, local laws, and agency policies. The successful candidate will work closely with technical, budget, and legal staff to develop, track, and manage IT contracts, renewals, and purchasing activities. The responsibilities include: - Manage and track IT contracts, including initiation, renewals, amendments, and closeouts. - Coordinate procurement activities in compliance with PPB Rules, NYC Local Laws, and agency procedures. - Work with program staff to define requirements and develop solicitation documents (RFPs, RFQs, task orders, etc.). - Assist in the preparation of contract packages and required documentation for oversight approvals. - Collaborate with Finance/Budget units to ensure proper funding, encumbrances, and timely payments. - Monitor vendor performance and maintain accurate contract records. - Support audits and reporting requirements related to technology contracts and procurement.
