Job Title: Medical Assistant Back Office Job Description Join our team as a Back Office Medical Assistant, where you will perform quality team-based patient care under the direct supervision of a clinician. This role involves both clinical and administrative functions to promote health and wellness in a safe and friendly environment. You will support clinicians and care management teams in assessing and maintaining chronic disease management, as well as examining and treating the patient population. Additionally, you will be responsible for performing all laboratory testing procedures and phlebotomy, including venipuncture, finger sticks, and heel sticks. Responsibilities + Perform quality team-based patient care under clinician supervision. + Support clinician and care management teams in chronic disease management. + Examine and treat patient population. + Conduct laboratory testing procedures and phlebotomy, including venipuncture, finger sticks, and heel sticks. + Take manual vitals and assist in patient care. + Communicate effectively with patients, employees, and the public. + Assess emergencies and act accordingly. + Float between various locations as patient queue demands. The shift is Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, and every other Saturday from 7:45am to 12:00pm. Week 1 consists of 42.5 hours/week, while Week 2 consists of 46.75 hours/week. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Aventura, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30000.00 - $40000.00/yr.
