The Idaho Transportation Department is recruiting for a temporary Transportation Technician located in District 4 Bliss, Idaho. This is a temporary position (40 hours per week) lasting up to 5 months. Please note that this position does not include benefits. This temporary position will provide support to keep our highways safe and clear. Idaho Transportation Department is seeking individuals who are hardworking and interested in seasonal employment. These individuals need to be self-motivated and able to work well independently as well as with a team to provide a high-quality service. We’re looking for a dependable and hardworking individual to perform a variety of general landscaping and grounds maintenance tasks. This includes operating and maintaining landscaping equipment and assisting other crews with related work as needed. Incumbents are required to work in all weather conditions, under hazardous conditions, on obstructed roads and congested highways, in considerable noise, around operating equipment, and with hazardous materials. Key Responsibilities: + Mowing lawns and maintaining landscaped areas + Painting as needed around the property + Cleaning and maintaining landscaping equipment Example of Additional Duties: These positions could include: + Building and yard maintenance that may include trees, shrubs and grass trimming, interior painting, clearing rain gutters, and some experience in carpentry work, etc. + Willing to have a flexible work schedule + Willing to work outside in cold or inclement weather Desired Qualifications: + At least six months or one season of relevant work experience + Home yard work is not considered qualifying experien To view full details and how to apply, please login or create a Job Seeker account
