As an Accounts Payable Clerk Your Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: u2022 Process and ensure timely payment of invoices using the client's processing system. u2022 Address vendor payment concerns by collaborating with the appropriate departments. u2022 Maintain accurate records of campus residents, including locations and occupants of apartments and houses. u2022 Manage incoming work requests, prioritize tasks, and follow up on completion as needed. u2022 Prepare requisitions and coordinate with staff to describe goods or services accurately. u2022 Handle incoming and outgoing mail, including sorting, labeling, and distributing paychecks. u2022 Oversee petty cash management and ensure proper documentation of transactions. u2022 Order supplies and equipment to meet departmental needs. u2022 Take emergency calls related to facilities and escalate issues to the appropriate department heads. u2022 Maintain both physical and digital files for Campus Operations and Security while ensuring confidentiality. Requirements The ideal Accounts Payable Clerk candidate will have: u2022 Proven experience in accounts payable processes, including invoice coding and payment procedures. u2022 Proficiency in using financial systems and software such as Outlook, Excel, and accounting tools. u2022 Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to collaborate across departments. u2022 Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy. u2022 Knowledge of operational functions, including housekeeping, maintenance, and grounds management. u2022 Demonstrated ability to maintain physical and virtual files in compliance with confidentiality standards. u2022 Ability to resolve vendor payment issues and maintain positive vendor relationships.
