Military Occupational Specialty Code: 91E, 91C, EM, HT, MK, DC, 1161, 1341, 3E1X1 Responsibilities u00b7 Work directly with our clients, engineering leadership, and vendors to keep the building operational. u00b7 Perform ongoing facility maintenance and complete repairs on various equipment. u00b7 Perform minor repairs to Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEPu2019s) equipment. u00b7 Ensure client satisfaction. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: u00b7 Proficient in Basic General Maintenance Duties u00b7 Solid knowledge and skill in the safe use of hand and power tools and other materials required to perform repair and maintenance tasks. u00b7 Complete assigned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance repairs. u00b7 Use the CMMS program in support of work performance. Foster a work environment that promotes energy conservation and continuous improvement of engineering functions. u00b7 Perform basic routine MEP repairs u00b7 Assist with surface preparation and painting, minor drywall, and wood trim repair u00b7 Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed. u00b7 Assists in emergencies as needed. u00b7 Returns all work areas to a clean, neat, orderly, and safe condition. Qualifications Required: u2022 Must be 18 years of age or older u2022 No experience required and on the job training provided u2022 No high school diploma, GED or college degree required Preferred: u2022 1 to 3 year of similar work experience and or trade school. Strong customer service orientation, and organizational/analytical skills. u00b7 Ability to work extended periods of time without relief, when responding to priorities/emergencies.
