Job Title

We are seeking a Pipefitter / Welder for assignment in Tucson, Arizona. The selected candidate will perform a variety of tasks in the preventive and corrective maintenance, repair of equipment, instruments, processes and support systems of a Central Utility Plant on an assigned shift.Hours are Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm** This position requires strong welding experience along with solid pipefitting skills **- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair critical facility equipment to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operations- Inspect, maintain and repair motors, pumps, valves, plant systems, supporting infrastructure and related mechanical systems- Conduct brazing, soldering and welding as needed on plant and facility systems- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, sketches and specifications- Install new equipment and interpret wiring diagrams, codes and technical documentation- Execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs to improve system reliability and extend equipment life- Maintain accurate work orders and asset data in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)- Safely operate aerial lifts, scaffolding, forklifts and other mobile equipment- Perform other duties as assigned- High School Diploma or GED- A valid Drivers License- 5+ years experience in industrial mechanical maintenance, pipefitting and welding- Knowledge of safety procedures (LOTO, PPE, confined space etc.)- HVAC experience is a plus#IND
