Job Title

The Field Operator III - Water Operations is responsible for monitoring and controlling water treatment systems, saltwater disposal (SWD) operations, and distribution networks through SCADA systems. This role focuses on ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant operations while supporting field personnel through remote troubleshooting, system optimization, and data-driven decision making.Monitor water treatment plants, SWD systems, and distribution networks using SCADATrack and analyze flow rates, pressure levels, and system performanceRespond to system alarms and initiate corrective actions in a timely mannerAdjust pumps, valves, and system inputs remotely to maintain optimal operationsCoordinate with field operators, I&E technicians, and electrical crews for on-site troubleshooting and maintenanceDispatch field personnel when remote resolution is not possibleRecord operational data, incidents, and maintenance activities in logs and reportsGenerate daily, weekly, and monthly performance reportsEnsure compliance with environmental, safety, and regulatory standardsFollow emergency response procedures during system failures or contamination eventsParticipate in training, system upgrades, and continuous improvement initiativesIdentify and recommend process improvements to enhance system efficiency and reliabilityExperience with water systems, including water treatment, SWD, or distribution operations.Strong working knowledge of SCADA systems for monitoring and remote operationsBasic electrical and mechanical knowledge of pumps, valves, and instrumentationAbility to interpret system alarms and troubleshoot operational issues remotelyStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick decisions under pressureEffective communication skills for coordinating with field personnel and documenting activitiesProficiency in Microsoft Office and reporting toolsStrong computer skills; experience with data logging systems preferredPrior oil & gas operations experience preferredMust meet conditional job offer requirements including background, drug test, agility and fit for duty.
