Benefits may vary based on state law.The Executive Assistant provides administrative support for the Hospital Administrator. The EA performsall administrative functions including transcription, letters/memos, administration policies and procedures, general office duties, and meeting minutes. Maintains competent knowledge of organizational operations, procedures, policies and personnel. Works independently to plan and organize office operations. Assists in the planning and preparation of any special events associated with the Administrator's office.Coordinates all administrative activities for assigned executiveSchedules activities, special events, travel arrangements and special projects for the Hospital Administrator and assures effective coordination of the activitiesAssists with the Hospital Administrator's time by researching, routing correspondence, drafting letters and documents, collecting and analyzing information, preparing information for meetings, scheduling and maintaining calendar and meetingsWorks with staff to complete annual surveysCoordinates student affiliation agreements between universities and legal councils at SHC headquarters office, works with other hospitals in preparing transfer agreementsReceives and documents donations received at hospitalPrepares and monitors the budget for the Administration DepartmentPrepares monthly packets for Board MembersProvides support to the Board of GovernorsRequiredAssociates degree in related field5 years of Administrative Assistant / Clerical experience required, hospital setting experience preferredAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of productsPreferred2 years of Executive Secretary experience
