Job Title: Mechanical EngineerJob Description We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer with a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent from an accredited institution. This role requires 3 years of engineering design experience in a high-volume production and product development environment, focusing on consumer products or appliances. Responsibilities + Design and develop high-volume manufactured parts and component pieces using CAD modeling, with a preference for SolidWorks. + Validate parts and components by interpreting and working from blueprints. + Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project completion. + Lead projects with minimal management direction, ensuring timely and efficient execution. + Support the transition of suppliers and validate pieces to bring them into operation. + Apply engineering tools such as FMEA, DOE, DVP&R, RCCM, PLM, and Risk Analysis to improve product processes. Essential Skills + Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. + Proficiency in SolidWorks and CAD modeling. + Experience with high-volume production environments. + Strong project management skills. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with castings, machined metal parts, and injection molded components. + Familiarity with ERP systems and blueprint reading. + Strong knowledge of product improvement processes.
