As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing machinery used in converting excess plastics into recyclable pellets. You will work in a collaborative team environment at the Bloomsburg plant. Responsibilities + Perform preventative and emergency maintenance on machines. + Troubleshoot motor controls, hydraulics, and pneumatics. + Conduct forklift repair and maintenance. + Create tooling and fabricate parts for large-scale machinery. + Work on shredders, grinders, and conveyors, ensuring safe blade changes. + Maintain a clean workstation and organize the maintenance shop. + Practice safe Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures. Essential Skills + Several years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial facility. + Proficiency in troubleshooting machinery. + Experience with electrical and mechanical repairs. + Knowledge of PLC, fabrication, controls, hydraulics, and pneumatics. + Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot 480V and 3 phase motors. Additional Skills & Qualifications + 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing facility. + Experience in troubleshooting hydraulics and pneumatics. + Electrical troubleshooting experience. Work Environment Work in a manufacturing environment that involves large machinery and can be loud and dusty due to the processing of plastics. Operate on the first shift from 6am-2pm or 7am-3pm with flexibility for the right candidate. On-call duties are required every other week, with additional compensation provided.
