Currently Seeking Manufacturing Associates in Shippensburg, PA DIRECT HIRE - AWESOME BENEFITS/401K MATCH 5PM-5AM- Thursday-Saturday $25.00/hr + Starting Pay Job Description This position is responsible for the operation, packaging, and problem-solving efforts in a team environment at a dairy processing facility. The role involves maintaining the plant according to Food Safety guidelines, forming boxes, and packaging the final product. Additionally, the role includes cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining equipment to meet company and food safety standards, operating pallet jacks, and processing bulk dairy ingredients using computerized systems for ultra filtration and evaporation processes. The job requires the ability to lift over 50 pounds. Responsibilities + Maintain the plant in accordance with Food Safety guidelines. + Form boxes and package the final product. + Clean, sanitize, and maintain equipment to company and food safety standards. + Operate pallet jacks efficiently. + Manufacture, maintain, and process bulk dairy ingredients. + Utilize computerized systems for ultra filtration and evaporation processes. + Set up and operate equipment. Essential Skills + Experience in packaging, production, and general labor. + Knowledge of food processing and sanitation. + Experience as a machine operator. + Understanding of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices). Additional Skills & Qualifications + No formal education required, but a GED or diploma is preferred. + 1 to 2 years of production/manufacturing experience is preferred but not required. + Ability to read and comprehend detailed reports. + Proficiency in writing and verbally communicating process procedures.
