Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Claims Administrator to support a general contractor in the greater Boston area . This is a contract-to-permanent position, where you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Director of Risk Management with managing various insurance claims. You will collaborate with adjusters, attorneys, and other stakeholders to ensure claims are investigated thoroughly, processed efficiently, and resolved in a timely manner. Responsibilities: u2022 Assist in managing and overseeing insurance claims, including general liability, workers' compensation, and auto liability. u2022 Collaborate with adjusters, attorneys, and third-party carriers to investigate claims and determine liability. u2022 Prepare comprehensive loss runs and claims reports to identify trends and areas of focus. u2022 Compile and organize documentation required for Discovery requests and litigation processes. u2022 Handle small nuisance claims that may not fall under existing insurance coverage. u2022 Assess tender opportunities and make recommendations on settlements. u2022 Provide support for claims related to construction, environmental liability, and property risks. u2022 Ensure accurate processing of claims and maintain compliance with industry standards. u2022 Utilize industry knowledge to interpret construction documents and evaluate construction litigation cases. u2022 Work closely with stakeholders to address inquiries and provide updates on claim statuses. Requirements u2022 Minimum of 3 years of experience in insurance claims, with a focus on general liability and construction claims. u2022 Proficient in handling claims processing, including auto general liability and workers' compensation. u2022 Strong understanding of construction documents and litigation processes. u2022 Experience collaborating with third-party insurance carriers and adjusters. u2022 Familiarity with small claims handling and settlement assessments. u2022 Knowledge of industry-specific risks, such as environmental liability and builderu2019s risk. u2022 Excellent organizational and communication skills to manage documentation and coordinate with stakeholders. u2022 Ability to analyze data and prepare detailed claims reports.
