About the Role As the Test Facility Assistant Superintendent , youu2019ll work under minimal supervision to help maintain championshipu2011level turf and ensure the facility operates at peak condition. When the Superintendent is off-site, youu2019ll serve as the lead - keeping everything running smoothly. What Youu2019ll Be Doing + Assist in planning and supervising maintenance of tees, greens, fairways, bunkers, rough areas, and cart paths + Apply pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers, and soil conditioners in compliance with regulations + Repair and maintain turf equipment, buildings, and surrounding grounds + Schedule and oversee vendor and contractor work, ensuring safety and compliance + Perform hazardous waste handling and safety duties in line with federal, state, and company regulations + Maintain documentation and reports as required + Support overall test facility operations, stepping in as needed when the Superintendent is not on-site What You Need to Bring + 1+ year of golf turf management experience (tees, greens, fairways, bunkers, rough) + Active Massachusetts Pesticide License (required) + Ability to purchase and apply herbicides and pesticides + Knowledge of fertilizers, soil conditioners, irrigation systems, drainage, and pest control + Valid driveru2019s license + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions Why Youu2019ll Love This Role + $28u2013$32/hour for hands-on, skilled turf work + Work on touru2011level turf, not a typical golf course + Be part of golf product testing behind the scenes + High level of responsibility and autonomy + Ideal seasonal role (~6 months) to gain experience at one of the best sites If you take pride in maintaining top-tier turf and want a seasonal role where your skills truly matter, this is the opportunity for you.
