Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join a dynamic and growing commercial real estate company in Harahan, Louisiana. Responsibilities: u2022 Manage accounts receivable processes, including posting and reconciling batches, preparing aging reports, and addressing customer issues. u2022 Conduct billing and collection calls to ensure timely payments and resolve outstanding balances. u2022 Maintain and update cash receipts journal while reconciling sub-ledger accounts to the general ledger. u2022 Process full-cycle accounts payable, handling a high volume of invoices with precision and efficiency. u2022 Reconcile bank accounts and balance financial data within various ledgers. u2022 Verify documents and codes to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards. u2022 Input timesheet data and assist with payroll-related tasks. u2022 Compile and organize data for monthly closings and annual financial reports. u2022 Provide necessary information to stakeholders, including customers, shippers, and the sales/marketing team. u2022 Uphold and promote the organizationu2019s mission, values, and culture in all interactions. Requirements u2022 Associateu2019s or Bacheloru2019s degree in Accounting or a related field. u2022 At least 3 years of experience in accounts receivable or accounts payable roles. u2022 Proficiency in bookkeeping and a solid understanding of accounting principles. u2022 Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy. u2022 Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. u2022 Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. u2022 Familiarity with cash applications, commercial collections, and billing functions. u2022 Demonstrated ability to adapt and thrive within a collaborative team setting.
