Description We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our team in Nashua, New Hampshire. In this long-term contract role, you will play a pivotal role in supporting a family law practice by managing client interactions, drafting legal documents, and overseeing case preparation. Responsibilities: u2022 Conduct client interviews and gather necessary information for case preparation. u2022 Draft and review family law documents, including pleadings, motions, and agreements. u2022 Assist attorneys with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and evidence. u2022 Manage discovery processes, including document collection and review. u2022 File legal documents with courts and ensure compliance with filing deadlines. u2022 Maintain accurate case records and update client management software regularly. u2022 Coordinate communication between attorneys, clients, and opposing counsel. u2022 Research legal precedents and provide summaries to support case strategy. u2022 Monitor case progress and manage deadlines to ensure timely completion of tasks. Requirements u2022 Proven experience as a paralegal, with a focus on family law preferred. u2022 Proficiency in case management software and legal research tools. u2022 Strong knowledge of discovery processes and civil litigation procedures. u2022 Demonstrated ability to prepare for trials and manage trial-related tasks. u2022 Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. u2022 Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. u2022 Familiarity with legal documentation and filing requirements. u2022 Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
