Description We are looking for an experienced AML Business Analytics/Data Analyst to join our team in New York, New York. This is a long-term contract position that focuses on evaluating and enhancing data processes within the financial sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, transaction monitoring, and retail brokerage or wealth management products. Responsibilities: u2022 Analyze and monitor financial transactions to identify potential compliance risks and irregularities. u2022 Develop and maintain data requirements and source mapping to support business intelligence and analytics. u2022 Conduct in-depth analysis of retail brokerage and wealth management products to improve operational efficiency. u2022 Document and implement controls to ensure adherence to compliance standards and regulations. u2022 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to draft and refine data requirements for reporting and analysis. u2022 Utilize Microsoft SQL and BusinessObjects technologies to extract and manipulate data for actionable insights. u2022 Leverage business intelligence tools to create comprehensive reports and visualizations. u2022 Apply knowledge of Erwin Data for database modeling and management. u2022 Support compliance and anti-money laundering (AML) efforts through advanced analytics. u2022 Provide insights and recommendations based on data trends and patterns. Requirements u2022 Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis, business analytics, or a related field. u2022 Proficiency in Microsoft SQL and BusinessObjects technologies. u2022 Strong understanding of retail brokerage and wealth management products. u2022 Experience with transaction monitoring and anti-money laundering (AML) processes. u2022 Familiarity with data modeling tools, such as Erwin Data. u2022 Ability to draft and document data requirements and controls. u2022 Expertise in business intelligence tools and techniques. u2022 Prior experience with Actimize or similar compliance platforms is preferred.
