Job Description

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS u00b7 Manages EHS programs and initiatives to meet regulatory requirements and EHS needs of client account. o Maintain ISO, OSHA equivalent and/or ICS certification as required. u00b7 Implement provided Health and Safety programs at the site level including but not limited to: o Site metrics o Regulatory documentation o H&S audits and risk assessments o Awareness training o Incident investigation o Ergonomic evaluations o Investigate employee safety concerns supported by local branch. u00b7 Reports any deficiencies in the above to local branch. u00b7 Responds timely to additional requests from onsite management. u00b7 Coordinates the site Emergency Response Team (ERT): o Recruit and train ERT members o Coordinate quarterly practice sessions. o With assistance from required parties, facilities site wide evacuation drills. u00b7 Aid in Pandemic Response: o Assist Return to Office initiatives o Assist with contact tracing and investigations of Covid-19 case transmission as needed u00b7 Report information as required to onsite management. u00b7 Respond as needed during u201cafter hoursu201d emergencies. u00b7 Deploy awareness training to promote safety culture in the workplace. u00b7 Maintain site EHS metrics and distribute as required. u00b7 Collaborate with Security and Workplace to monitor standards and regulations. u00b7 Process documents and report periodically to program management teams to identify hidden risks or nonconformity issues. u00b7 Conduct regular (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual) audits and inspections in a timely manner and submit to the appropriate party. u00b7 Track and report progress on health and safety observations arising from monitoring activities , audits and incidents. u00b7 Make sure sites have easy access to EHS documentation such as Safety Data Sheet binder, Evacuation maps, etc. (coordinate with FM partners as needed). u00b7 Using provided meeting technology, schedule and facilitate a variety of meetings and webinars to disseminate gathered information. u00b7 Maintain a client service approach to problem-solving of health and safety concerns. u00b7 Investigate workplace incidents and near-misses, prepare reports, and recommend preventive measures. u00b7 Communicate concerns, issues, and recommended resolutions to EHS stakeholders and the Management. u00b7 Provides health and safety support for events, both onsite and offsite. u00b7 May travel to other sites as needed. u00b7 Directly line manages team members within assigned area. u00b7 Indirectly manages, assigning and appraising tasks and providing guidance and support to, safety and security officers within assigned area. u00b7 Supports global and regional level projects and initiatives as required. u00b7 This list is partial. MINIMUM HIRING STANDARDS: u00b7 Must be at least 18 years of age. u00b7 Must have a reliable means of communication. u00b7 Must have a reliable means of transportation (public or private) u00b7 Must have the legal right to work in USA u00b7 Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English. u00b7 Must have a High School Diploma or GED or equivalent. u00b7 Must be willing to participate in the Companyu2019s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation. u00b7Security Guard license EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: u00b7 Bacheloru2019s degree (BA/BS) in HSE from four-year college or university, or sufficient training, experience or combination to substitute for degree. Minimum of 5 years of related experience. u00b7 Demonstrated knowledge of federal, state and local health and safety, and environmental regulations is essential. Direct experience dealing with regulatory agencies and/or compliance officers is preferred. u00b7 ISO 45001 management standard experience is a plus. u00b7 Certified Safety Professional (CSP) u00b7 Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, OneNote, PowerPoint, Visio, Excel, as well as SharePoint.
