At Bayview ICC the children not only get the best care and nurturing from our amazing staff, but they get the chance to interact with the retirement community residents. The Early Education Teacher at Bayview's Intergenerational Childcare Center (ICC) plays a vital role in a truly unique, mission-driven program within our nonprofit continuing care retirement community. Working under the guidance of the Lead Teacher, this position partners closely with team members to create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for children---while also fostering meaningful connections with older adult residents.What makes Bayview ICC special is our intergenerational approach. Through shared activities like art, gardening, and storytelling, teachers help create one-of-a-kind learning experiences that support children's social development, empathy, and understanding of others.
