This position is primarily bell-focused , welcoming guests on the front drive, assisting with luggage, coordinating transportation, and communicating closely with Front Desk, Valet, and other hotel teams to ensure a seamless arrival and departure experience. As a representative of the Hyatt at Olive 8 Lobby, the Guest Services Agent plays an important role in fostering a comfortable, safe, and welcoming lobby experience. This position requires comfort in proactively engaging with guests and visitors, setting a professional and reassuring presence in the lobby, and addressing situations that may arise with confidence, discretion, and courtesy when Security is not immediately available. The Guest Services Agent is expected to exercise sound judgement, escalate situations as appropriate, and partner closely with the Security team to ensure a positive and secure guest and colleague experience. In addition, this role requires a comfort level with the Seattle area and the ability to provide elevated guest assistance through concierge-style support. Guest Services Agents may assist with transportation arrangements, restaurant reservations, and local recommendations , using both personal knowledge and available resources to tailor suggestions to guest preferences.
