Mead & Hunt, Inc., a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, has one or more positions available for a Mechanical CAD/BIM technician for our Building Engineering Group.The successful candidate must have the following:- Associate degree (or higher) in computer aided drafting (CAD) or related field from an accredited institution and at least 1 year of relevant experience; OR if no degree, must have at least 3 years of relevant professional experience.The ideal candidate will have experience with any/all of the following:- Drawing mechanical systems for building projects using Revit software- Setting up engineering drawing sets in Revit software- Applying design standards to engineering drawings- Drawing, laying out, sizing, coordinating and detailing mechanical systems- Attending project team meetings- Coordinating with the design team- Experience or familiarity with generative AI-driven tools, platforms, or systems (e.g. Microsoft Copilot, Chat GPT, Claude, Gemini) to enhance productivity, automate tasks, and reduce errors- Occasional travel may be requiredAt Mead & Hunt we shape the future by putting people first.
