Position Summary Barbacksassist and support all bar and service-related tasks as needed and areinstrumental to the success of the bar and service operations. Barbacks providetop quality service while assuming full responsibility for the day-to-day barmaintenance, cleanliness and organization. Overview of Responsibilities u25cfProvide positive guest experience including greeting, conversingwith, and thanking departing guests u25cfPerform all necessary duties related to the baroperations including replenishment, maintenance, stocking of the bar supplies,and assist in regular service when needed u25cfPerform opening and closing duties including set-up,maintenance, and breakdown of the area within the allotted timeframe not toexceed 20% or maximum of 2 hours of the scheduled shift u25cfAssist with preparing, serving, and ringing in drinksaccording to standards u25cfFollow all health and safety regulations, includingenforcing laws and ordinances in the handling and provision of alcoholicbeverages u25cfMaintain cleanliness of work areas including bar,floor, shelves, taps, coolers, and storage areas u25cfMaintains a clean, neat and well-groomed appearance u25cfMaintain cleanliness and safety of all work areas u25cfEnsure that work areas are properly stocked withglassware, garnishes, silverware, napkins, pens, paper, and other appropriatesupplies u25cfAttend mandatory staff meetings u25cfFollow all company policies, procedures, andguidelines including being ready to work at scheduled shift time, in uniform,with neat and presentable appearance u25cfPerform all other reasonably assigned duties Minimum Qualifications u25cfStrong work ethic, team player, and exceptional guest serviceskills u25cfMinimum of 6 months as a barback in a fast-paced, high-volumeservice environment preferred and/or equivalent relevant experience u25cfAbility to consistently deliver high-quality guest experiences,exceed guest expectations, and strive to create a memorable experience at everyCity Winery visit u25cfAbility to navigate venue conditions, including tight spaces, darkroom and loud environment u25cfPolished presentation u25cfAbility to take direction from others u25cf Effective communication and interpersonal skills with a proven abilityto build positive relationships with coworkers and guests u25cf Aptitude to resolve problems u25cfAbility to work both independently and in a team environment u25cfAbility to work a flexible schedule including days, nights,weekends, and holidays u25cfAbility to perform physical requirements of the role includingstanding/walking for the entirety of shift, bending, pulling, pushing, usingstairs, lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
