But what truly makes Dwight special is our people.u00a0 u00a0 Dwight Summer Day Camp is seeking a highly organized and proactive Summer Camp Administrator to support the day-to-day operations of our camp program. This role is essential in ensuring a smooth, safe, and engaging experience for campers, families, and staff u00a0 Dates & Schedule: Seasonal position + Camp Duration: Mondayu2013Friday, June 8 u2013 August 7, 2026 (Closed Friday, June 19, for Juneteenth & Friday, July 3, for Independence Day) + Hours: 8:00 AM u2013 4:30 PM + Location: 94th Street Campus : 705 Columbus Avenue u00a0 Compensation & Benefits: + $24u2013$28/hour, commensurate with experience + Lunch provided + $150 bonus for completing required camp orientations & training + Staff perk: children of staff working 7u20138 weeks may attend camp for $50/week per child Key Responsibilities: + Oversee attendance tracking across all divisions and follow up with parents/guardians regarding camper absences + Manage the camp phone, serving as the primary point of contact for parents/guardians and providing timely responses and updates + Support billing, payment processing, and related administrative tasks, as needed + Assist in coordinating events, special activities, and field trips + Proactively address and resolve any issues or concerns that arise during camp operations + Ensure adherence to all safety policies, procedures, and regulations Qualifications: + Prior experience in camp administration, education, recreation, or a related field preferred + Strong organizational and multitasking skills + Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities + Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment + Proficiency in basic office software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, registration systems) + CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred Our Commitment: Dwight School is dedicated to barrier-free recruitment and providing equal employment opportunities.
