Location:HF Main Detroit Status:Contingent Setting:100% Inpatient Adult Patients Call/Weekends:None Position Overview: Henry Ford Health System is seeking a contingent Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Critical Care team, primarily based at the Detroit Main Campus. This role involves providing high-quality care to critically ill patients in the intensive care unit, including diagnostic evaluation, treatment, and ongoing management of complex conditions. Candidates must be Acute Care certified (Family Nurse Practitioners will not be considered) and have a minimum of two years of experience in inpatient medicine, emergency medicine, or ICU settings; prior ICU experience is strongly preferred. New graduates are not eligible for this position. This contingent role offers the opportunity for cross-credentialing and potential travel to support additional Henry Ford Health System locations, providing flexibility while working within a collaborative, high-acuity critical care environment. Employment contingent upon credentialing and completion of Employee Health screening per HFHS policy.
