This job was posted by : For moreinformation, please see: Quality Assurance Inspector is responsible for administering thecompany quality program in accordance with customer and companyrequirements.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Inspects and approves incoming materials and product to engineering and ensuring conformance to specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and rejecting and returning unacceptable product, are processed through proper procedures.- Inspects in-process production to engineering and ensuring conformance to specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, communicating required rework to area operations management.- Approves finished products to engineering and ensuring conformance to specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, returning products for re-work, and confirming re-work.- Documents inspection results by completing reports, job travelers, FAIs, squawk sheets and logs as required- Keeps measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions and calibration requirements, and reporting/requesting repairs when needed.- Perform hardness tests and conductivity, using hardness testing machines and meters.- Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, and complying with legal regulations.- Reject products not meeting specifications- Prepare reports covering product and/or materials scrapped or salvaged```{=html}```- Communicates effectively (verbal and written) with all contacts- Accepts and adapts easily to change- Ensures that all activities are consistent with Company Mission Statement- Maintain a safe and positive working environment```{=html}```- Meets physical demands of job with or without an accommodation- Other duties as assigned
