The client runs a full-service precision machine shop that specializes in complex operations and serves the Aerospace sector.Position purpose/core responsibilities:Our client is in need of a skilled machinist with around 2 to 4 years CNC machine experience who knows how to effectively use Siemens NX or equivalent CAD software to augment the machining process. Preference will be given to those who have experience operating the following machines or equivalent:Machinist Duties and Responsibilities:- Setting up and running the following: NC Mills and NC Lathes- Reading and understanding engineering drawings and blueprints including true positioning and conventional tolerancing.- Reading and following production planning.- Running jobs close to tolerances of +/- .001
