Review competitor productsand the factors that differentiate GE Healthcare products from others onthe market. Conduct data analysis and use available internal andexternal sources to support recommendations. Perform clinical andindustry trend analysis, market share and competitive analysis andwin/loss tracking to identify product and commercial strategies forgrowth. Collect and prioritize product introduction and improvementrecommendations and analyze the competitive landscape. Identify budgetrequirements to ensure proper execution. Orchestrate research to assessmarket and customer environments and to discover unmet needs, buyingcycles and personas, including the identification of customers'clinical and economic needs, values and desired benefits. Identify andassess market and distribution risks, and develop a plan to mitigatethose risks. Work with Region Product Marketing, Product Management,Engineering and Global Design to provide input to the productdevelopment roadmap and to develop, test and prototype new productideas. Collaborate with Region Product Marketing to perform installedbase analysis in order to define programs needed to improve customerloyalty, share of wallet and retention, and cooperate with ProductManagement to include these programs on product roadmaps. Coordinate thedevelopment of marketing assets and training materials with MarketingServices. Develop a plan and budget for evidence generation to supportselected NPI's (New Product introduction) and installed base products.Develop inputs to support business case for NPI (including targetpricing) and product/offering positioning. Define brand (naming andtrademarks), value proposition(s), and competitive positioning claimsroadmap for new and existing offerings. Build and execute global launchplans, including value proposition, segmentation / positioning, targetpricing, awareness and advocacy strategies, channel strategy and salesenablement in coordination with Regional Product Marketing. Developprograms that improve the customer experience of the installed base insupport of installed base retention. Ensure that regional marketingplans are aligned with the global marketing plan and collaborate withregional marketing on selecting the appropriate marketing mix.Collaborate with Advertising, Promotion, and Communications to develop acommunications plan in support of the marketing objective. Develop andmanage budget needed to execute marketing plan, and ensure timelyimplementation of programs in the marketing plan. REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Marketing, Business Administration,Medical Imaging, or related. Employer will accept a combination ofpost-secondary academic degree and work experience evaluated as theequivalent of a Bachelor's degree in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.Seven (7) years of experience in marketing, product marketing, MagneticResonance Imaging, or a combination thereof. Work experience to include:Five (5) years of experience in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) productsales; Imaging experience in the healthcare industry; Advanced MagneticResonance (MR) physics to operate complex MR scanners and interpretrelevant MR images; Commercial experience in sales negotiation, andproduct and clinical presentations within the MR industry; Generatingclinical evidence for marketing purposes; and Developing anddemonstrating value propositions to radiologists, technologists, andC-level stakeholders. Any and all experience may be gained concurrently.Approximately 15% domestic and 15% international travel required toattend MRI congresses and visit customer sites.
