Ink Manufacturing Operator - Milling & Mixing Location: South CharlotteShift: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PMPay Rate: $18.00 per hour Position Summary Ink Manufacturing Operator - Milling & Mixing Ink manufacturing company is hiring a Milling & Mixing Operator to support the production of high-quality printing inks. This role combines mixing, milling, batch processing, and packaging functions in a manufacturing environment. Training is provided; candidates with chemical or manufacturing experience are preferred but not required. Strong machine operators are encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities Ink Manufacturing Operator - Milling & Mixing Operate one or more mixers to blend raw materials according to batch sheets Accurately weigh and measure materials using scales and related tools Use knives, rags, disposables, and standard production supplies as part of the mixing process Monitor, test, and record batch temperatures; operate heater jackets as required Transport batches to Quality Control (QC) for testing; make adjustments or additions as directed Run ink batches at proper mill settings Adjust roller pressure and temperature during milling operations Take grind check samples and confirm product meets specifications Package finished ink products safely and accurately Operate sit-down forklift for material handling Place disposables and waste materials into designated drums Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Qualifications Ink Manufacturing Operator - Milling & Mixing Prior manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred Experience working with chemicals is helpful but not required Forklift experience (sit-down) a plus Ability to follow batch sheets, process instructions, and safety guidelines Comfortable working in a production environment with temperature monitoring and equipment adjustments Basic math, measurement, and documentation skills Reliable attendance and ability to work second shift Physical Requirements Ink Manufacturing Operator - Milling & Mixing Ability to stand for extended periods Lift and move materials as required by the process Perform repetitive tasks and operate industrial equipment safely Benefits Ink Manufacturing Operator - Milling & Mixing Medical insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Paid Time Off (PTO) Paid vacation 401(k) retirement plan Ink Manufacturing Operator - Milling & Mixing
