Description We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team on a long-term contract basis. Based in Morrilton, Arkansas, this role offers an opportunity to contribute to the financial well-being of the organization by managing key accounting processes. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in bookkeeping, QuickBooks, and financial record management. Responsibilities: u2022 Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards. u2022 Process and manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) transactions efficiently. u2022 Perform regular bank reconciliations to verify the accuracy of account balances. u2022 Utilize QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online to manage and organize financial data. u2022 Prepare financial reports and summaries to support decision-making processes. u2022 Assist in monitoring and tracking budgets while identifying discrepancies and resolving issues. u2022 Ensure all financial transactions are recorded promptly and accurately. u2022 Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting workflows and improve efficiency. u2022 Provide support during audits by organizing and presenting necessary documentation. u2022 Stay informed about changes in accounting practices and tools to enhance operations. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in bookkeeping and financial management. u2022 Proficiency in QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online. u2022 Strong knowledge of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes. u2022 Demonstrated expertise in performing bank reconciliations. u2022 Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. u2022 Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. u2022 Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. u2022 Familiarity with accounting principles and practices.
