This job was posted by : For moreinformation, please see:What We Can Achieve Together:The Associate Director of Development II (ADoD II) works closely withthe development team to plan, implement, and coordinate effectivemulti-year strategies and plans for gift prospects, including corporate,foundation, and/or individual donors.The Corporate Relations Officer Principal Gifts is responsible formanaging a portfolio of qualified corporations and their foundationsthat have the ability to make multi-million gifts. They understand andapply principles of developing complex donor strategies. They will beresponsible for direct asks to both global and local priorities to meetfunding needs. The Corporate Relations Officer Principal Gifts providesopportunities for donors to receive recognition and increase futuregiving. They involve and engage appropriate partners in the field and atthe Worldwide Office, keeping them apprised of interactions, issuesand/or concerns, and address questions as needed. They are capable offeaturing the programs of the Conservancy in detailed terms and workacross departments. The Corporate Relations Officer Principal Giftsunderstands project budgets and may build proposal budgets utilizingthis knowledge. They will develop a referral network as needed and maymanage formal and/or informal networks of trustees and corporatecontacts. They will be required to use the Conservancys donor databaseand may develop proposals. With a mandate toinnovate and the backing of one of the worlds most trusted environmentalorganizations, the Corporate Relations Officer will shape high-valuecollaborations, inspire corporate leaders, and help accelerate solutionsat the scale the planet demands. What Youll Bring:- Bachelors degree and 6 years related experience or an equivalent combination.- Experience building and maintaining long-term relationships with fundraising constituents.- Experience in asking for and closing gifts of $100,000 or more.- Experience securing $250,000 in a fiscal year from corporate giving alone.- Experience in managing and tracking multiple corporate prospects.- Experience working with cross-functional teams, preferably in a large non-profit.- Experience working with fundraising principles and practices.- Experience, coursework, or other training in current trends in charitable giving in the areas of corporate revenue, capital campaigns, or principal/major gifts Salary Information:The starting pay range for a candidate selected for this position isgenerally within the range of $94,350 - $137,450. This range onlyapplies to candidates whose country of employment is the USA. Where asuccessful candidates actual pay will fall within this range will bebased on a variety of factors, including, for example, the candidate'slocation, qualifications, specific skills, and experience. Please notecountries outside the USA would have a different pay range in the localcurrency based on the local labor market, and not tied to USA pay orranges.
