This role ensures that designs, equipment, and vendor deliverables align with performance, reliability, and constructability standards.You will act as the key liaison between internal teams and external engineering partners, driving consistency across design packages while resolving complex technical challenges.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide technical leadership across MEP systems (power, cooling, controls, fire protection, BMS)Review and validate design deliverables against internal standards and industry codesAct as the primary interface with design consultants, integrators, and engineering partnersOwn and evolve technical standards and basis of design documentationLead resolution of design conflicts, RFIs, and field engineering issuesOversee technical vendor strategy, equipment specifications, and qualification processesManage critical equipment lifecycle including production tracking and delivery alignmentLead and mentor discipline-specific SMEs (electrical, mechanical, controls)Partner with construction and commissioning teams to ensure system readiness and performanceDrive standardization across equipment platforms and vendor selectionsSupport procurement in technical evaluations and vendor negotiationsAI-Enabled DeliveryApply AI and analytics to monitor vendor risk and supply chain performanceUse predictive tools to identify and mitigate delivery or design risksLeverage automation for design review, specification validation, and document controlSupport development of integrated dashboards for equipment tracking and project insightsRequirements15+ years in data center engineering or mission-critical infrastructureStrong expertise across electrical, mechanical, and controls systemsExperience reviewing and approving complex design packagesBackground in vendor management and critical equipment procurementProven leadership of technical teams across multiple projectsStrong communication skills in cross-functional, matrixed environmentsBachelor’s degree in Engineering or related fieldPreferred QualificationsExperience with hyperscale or large-scale data center programsProfessional Engineer (PE) licenseFamiliarity with industry standards (Uptime, ASHRAE, NFPA, etc.)Exposure to advanced cooling and high-density power systemsExperience with commissioning and redundancy validationInterested in hearing more?
