The Chemical Technician supports field operations by managing,monitoring, andoptimizingchemical treatment programs across oil and gas facilities.Monitor andmaintainchemical injection systems across wells, pipelines, and production facilitiesPerform routine sampling and testing of water, oil, and gas to evaluate treatment effectivenessAdjust chemical injection rates based on field conditions and lab resultsTroubleshoot chemical pumps, injection systems, and related equipmentMaintainaccuraterecords of chemical usage, inventory, and treatment performanceCoordinate chemical deliveries and manage on-site inventory levelsEnsure proper storage, handling, and disposal of chemicalsin accordance withsafety and environmental regulationsWork closely with operations, production, and engineering teams tooptimizechemical programsConduct field inspections toidentifycorrosion, scaling, paraffin, or other production issuesFollow all safety procedures, including PPE requirements and hazard communication standards1+ years of experience in oil and gas, chemicaltreating, or related fieldrequired.Basic understanding of chemical treatment processes (corrosion inhibition, scale control, etc.)Experience with chemical injection systems and field equipment preferredHigh School Diploma or GED equivalentrequired.Ability to work outdoors invaryingweather conditions.Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.Must meet conditional job offer requirements including background, drug test, MVR, fit for duty and agility.
