Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomy Supervisor to join our team in North Brooklyn, NY. Work Schedule: Monday u2013 Friday 8am-5pm, additional days and hours may be required Job Responsibilities: + Supervise a team of (+25) phlebotomists working in Patient Service Centers and/or physician's offices + Manage patient flow, wait times, and inventory levels and information logs + Monitor monthly productivity and report any deviations as necessary + Coordinate phlebotomists' schedules through resourceful and creative thinking + Perform operational duties such as payroll, monthly schedules and performance appraisals + Partner with Human Resources regarding employee relations issues and disciplinary actions + Hire and train phlebotomists to fill any open positions + Communicate effectively to internal and external customers including patients, client office staff, sales team, logistics and senior management + Provide exceptional customer service to all patients and clients + Assist in the set-up of new Patient Service Centers or Client Offices + Provide resolution of any patient or client issues + Perform, collect and prepare specimens when needed + Travel to additional sites as necessary Minimum Qualifications: + High school diploma or GED or equivalent Preferred Qualifications: + 1 year or more experience in a supervisory or people leader position + 1 years or more experience as a phlebotomist Additional Job Standards: + In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency + Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service + Strong communication skills; both written and verbal + Ability to work independently or in a team environment + Comfortable working under minimal supervision + Valid driveru2019s license and a clean driving record with reliable transportation + Flexibility to work overtime as needed + Able to pass a standardized color blindness test + Be at least 21 yearsu2019 old Are you seeking an opportunity that makes a difference?
