Day shift: 7:00 pm to 7:00 am Primary responsibilities include: + Operating forklift trucks and powered material handling equipment to transport materials between storage areas, loading docks, and designated work zones + Performing loading and unloading of trucks, including securing loads with strapping, bracing, and padding to prevent damage + Assisting with staging jobs, banding skids, inventory movement, and material distribution across various work areas + Maintaining safe work practices, following OSHA guidelines, and adhering to company policies, SOPs, and housekeeping standards Perks: + Pay starting at $20.00 per hour, plus overtime as needed + Weekly paycheck + Work in a warehouse environment with a team-oriented atmosphere + Access to Adeccou2019s Aspire Academy with thousands of free upskilling courses + Opportunity to gain hands-on experience with forklift operation and warehouse systems Qualifications: + High School diploma or equivalent required + Minimum of 1 year of experience in warehouse or manufacturing operations + Ability to operate or obtain certification for forklift trucks and powered lift equipment + Physical ability to lift up to 60 lbs occasionally and 25 lbs frequently, and stand for extended periods + Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment + Basic math skills and familiarity with OSHA regulations and warehouse safety practices preferred + Proficiency in using the intranet, and management information systems (MIS). + Comprehension skills and ability to operate forklift trucks and other related powered lift equipment. + Possess good mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting forklift equipment issues. + Forklift certification license or ability to obtain forklift certification license. + Effective customer service, interpersonal, detailed oriented, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. + Ability to communicate clearly, orally and in writing.
