This is a direct hire opportunity, meaning you will be hired permanently with our client and offered their benefit and vacation package upon hire What Youu2019ll Do: + Master the Machines : Perform corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on a variety of sophisticated equipment, including electronics, electrical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, software, hardware, and robotics. + Keep Operations Smooth : Conduct preventive maintenance on production equipment, including cleaning, retooling, oil-changing, calibrating, and aligning to ensure peak performance. + Drive Innovation : Assist in engineering studies targeting process design improvements for product throughput, first-run yields, ergonomics, tooling, equipment, and manufacturing processes. Responsibilities: + Equipment Mastery : Perform corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on various assembly, machining, and test equipment. + Preventive Care : Conduct regular preventive maintenance on production equipment. + Engineering Collaboration : Assist in process design improvement and engineering studies to enhance overall efficiency and output. Required Qualifications: + High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent. + Minimum 3 years of related mechanical or electrical experience, or an Associate's Degree in a related field. + Proficiency with hand tools and power tools, as well as shop equipment (lathe, mills, grinder, etc.). + Ability to read and understand both technical and non-technical materials. + Exceptional technical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. + Strong analytical capabilities. + Proficiency in computer and software applications. Preferred Qualifications: + Knowledgeable in PLC/SRC/RS LOGIX and Ladder Logic. + Familiarity with robotic and vision systems. + Experience with process improvement, corrective maintenance, and preventive maintenance. + Prior experience in a team-based management culture.
