Adecco Staffing is currently hiring experienced Call Center Representatives for 1st shift to support one of our clients in Boston, MA. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity. Strong call center experience is required. Candidates must have excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Pay Rate: $20u2013$23/hour 1st Shift: + Availability between 7:00 AM u2013 6:00 PM + Must work every Sunday + Days off: Saturday + 1 weekday (non-consecutive) Key Responsibilities + Handle high-volume inbound calls for hospitals and private medical offices (200u2013300 calls per shift) + Follow structured call scripts while maintaining a professional and empathetic tone + Triage calls by urgency, distinguishing between routine requests (appointments, prescriptions) and emergency situations + Page on-call medical staff for urgent or critical needs + Respond quickly to emergency protocols and escalate appropriately + Provide clear, courteous, and professional communication at all times + Process calls for main lines, paging, dispatch, and answering services + Assist hospital staff with after-hours communication needs + Maintain and update databases, schedules, and directories accurately + Handle confidential patient information in compliance with privacy standards + Demonstrate strong multitasking by managing multiple systems/screens simultaneously + Utilize quick data entry and typing skills to document calls efficiently + Apply sound judgment, prioritization, and decision-making in a fast-paced environment Qualifications + Prior call center experience required + Medical call center experience preferred + Strong communication skills with a calm, professional phone presence + Ability to follow call scripts and handle multiple systems simultaneously + Typing speed of 40+ WPM preferred + High School Diploma required Interested?
