CNC Controls Engineer Location: Mason, OH Compensation: $90-120k/yr Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or 10+ years of experience building electrical controls for manufacturing equipment Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and machine documentation Experience with CNC programming, PLCs, ladder logic, and machine control systems Proficiency in 2D CAD (AutoCAD) with working knowledge of 3D CAD preferred Strong troubleshooting skills across electrical, mechanical, and computer systems Knowledge of Ethernet wiring, basic networking, and industrial communication systems Strong problem-solving, multitasking, and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams Responsibilities: Analyze, modify, and execute CNC machine controller programs/Windows applications/ CNC machines to support production needs Perform integration, maintenance, and repair of CNC systems, including Fanuc controllers Diagnose and maintain electronic systems such as PLCs, robotics, servo systems, and VFDs Define and support electronic control requirements for CNC and manufacturing equipment Collaborate with internal teams on equipment design involving electrical/electronic interfaces Assist with installation, setup, and commissioning of new equipment and systems Ensure compliance with safety standards while supporting team goals and continuous improvement initiatives #SRGD
