Currently, we are seeking an experienced Shipping Clerk / Warehouse Worker / Forklift Operator to join a growing team. Job Summary The ideal candidate will have strong experience in shipping, warehouse operations, and forklift operation. This role requires packaging, crate building, order processing, and managing freight shipments while maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient work environment. Key Responsibilities Assemble, package, label, and prepare large, heavy products for shipment according to customer orders Build shipping crates using hand and power tools Load and unload trucks safely using a forklift (forklift certification required) Read and interpret packing slips, bills of lading, and shipping documents accurately Process shipping paperwork for FedEx, UPS, and other freight carriers using online shipping software Report shortages or discrepancies and follow up on incomplete orders Coordinate carrier pickups and deliveries efficiently Transfer received products to appropriate departments Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the warehouse and shipping areas Follow all safety guidelines and company policies to ensure a safe work environment Qualifications & Requirements Proven experience in shipping, warehouse operations, and forklift operation Licensed forklift operator with a strong knowledge of material handling equipment Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly Proficient with shipping forms, bills of lading, and freight carrier regulations (FedEx, UPS, etc.) Skilled in using hand and power tools for crate building and packaging Comfortable standing, sitting, bending, and moving around the warehouse environment Ability to work in an environment with noise, dust, and other typical warehouse conditions High attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately Must pass criminal background check Willingness to work Saturdays as needed Benefits Medical, Vision, and Dental coverage starting from day one Life insurance Referral bonuses Weekly pay How to Apply If you are an experienced Shipping Clerk / Warehouse Worker / Forklift Operator looking for a stable, full-time role with competitive pay and excellent benefits, apply today with Express Employment Professionals of Clearwater!
