PRIMARY PURPOSE Temporary Seasonal Hires for all departmentsAssist Hannaford To Go Supervisor in leading the Hannaford to Go Team - Service in maintaining department operations to meet financial and sales goals. Build associate and customer relations and promote a strong culture in support of the Hannaford Strategy. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES u2022 Lead the Hannaford To Go Department operations in accordance with established department standard practices, in the absence of the Hannaford To Go Supervisor. u2022 Support excellent customer service and goodwill by role modeling and providing high standards in customer service and sales building. u2022 Support that department conditions involving appearance, safety, sanitation, and food safety are maintained at the highest level. u2022 Use good judgement in the delegation, assignment, and follow up required for the efficient performance of the department. u2022 Provide real time teaching on Shopping or Expediting process issues. u2022 Reports any issues or concerns relative to associate performance or behavior to the Assistant Store Manager. u2022 Assist in training and developing associates to meet department needs. u2022 Maintain solid communication in the department and with store management. u2022 Observe and follow all company policies, established standard practices and legal requirements. u2022 Perform all other duties and projects as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS u2022 A high school graduate or equivalent preferred. u2022 Retail customer service experience preferred. u2022 Ability to lead and direct others. u2022 Understanding of store operations preferred. u2022 Effective communication, customer service and selling skills. u2022 Effective interpersonal and organizational skills. u2022 Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job. u2022 Strong problem-solving skills. u2022 Must meet minimum age requirements. Physical Requirements u2022 Perform repetitive hand and arm motions. u2022 Stand or walk 100% of the time. u2022 Continuous fine finger motions such as pinching, grasping when handling money. u2022 Bend and lift products weighing up to 15 pounds continuously, 25 pounds frequently, and 50 pounds on occasion. u2022 Push or pull up to 75 pounds on occasion. u2022 Be able to handle a variety of substances associated with cleaning materials, packaging materials, fresh fruits, vegetables, house plants/flowers and household cleaners. u2022 Have sufficient visual acuity to read the HH unit display screen as well as check identification cards, checks, invoices, and other written documents. u2022 Work in and out of inclement weather when necessary. u2022 Gather up to 5 shopping carts and push them to designated area. u2022 Ability to use computers, calculators and communication systems required to perform all job functions.
