Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk/ AP Specialist to join our team in Meridian, Idaho. This long-term contract position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to essential accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and invoice processing. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in QuickBooks and possess strong organizational skills to ensure accuracy in financial records. Responsibilities: u2022 Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate transactions. u2022 Utilize QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online to record and maintain financial data. u2022 Perform data entry tasks to update accounting records with precision and efficiency. u2022 Process invoices using established systems, maintaining compliance with company procedures. u2022 Collaborate with teams to support automated payroll operations. u2022 Assist with financial reporting and reconciliation tasks to ensure accurate documentation. u2022 Maintain organized records for audits and internal reviews. u2022 Provide support for accounting functions in the restaurant industry, addressing specific operational needs. u2022 Identify discrepancies in financial data and resolve issues proactively. u2022 Ensure adherence to accounting standards and company policies in all tasks. Requirements u2022 Proficiency in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. u2022 Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online. u2022 Demonstrated experience in data entry and invoice processing. u2022 Familiarity with automated payroll systems and their functionalities. u2022 Previous exposure to accounting practices in the restaurant industry is preferred. u2022 Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. u2022 Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records. u2022 Excellent communication skills for team collaboration and reporting.
